Model 3 Highland Accessories: 2026 Australian Guide

The Tesla Model 3 Highland — the refreshed Model 3 sold in Australia from 2024 — is a brilliant car. But a handful of well-chosen accessories make it genuinely better to live with every day. The catch: the Highland is a different car to the pre-2024 Model 3. The interior, console, boot, and screen all changed. Accessories built for the old Model 3 simply don't fit.

Why Model 3 Highland Accessories Are Different

When Tesla refreshed the Model 3 in 2024, the changes that affect accessory fitment were significant: a new centre console with different cup holders, armrest, and storage tray layout; redesigned doors and dash that old wraps and trims don't align with; a revised boot and under-floor storage where pre-Highland liners won't sit flush. Always look for the word "Highland" or the year range "2024–2026" on the listing. If it just says "Model 3," it's likely built for the pre-Highland car and may not fit correctly.

• New centre console — different cup holders, armrest, and storage layout
• Redesigned boot and under-floor storage — pre-Highland liners won't sit flush
• Revised door and dash trim — old wraps and trims won't line up
• Same 15.4" central screen — but Highland-specific protector cutouts apply

The Essentials: What Every Highland Owner Should Have

All-weather TPE floor mats are the highest-value first purchase. Australian conditions — dust, sand, summer heat, sudden downpours — are hard on carpet. A set cut to the Highland's exact floorpan traps water and grit, lifts out for a quick hose-down, and protects resale value. An armrest protector and console organiser are the next priority — the Highland's centre console gets used constantly and scratches show. A cup holder insert stops bottles rattling and keys disappearing into the console. Trunk side storage boxes convert the awkward boot cavities into tidy compartments for the charging cable and small gear.

• 8-piece floor mat set: front, rear, full boot, and under-boot storage coverage
• 6-piece floor mat set: cabin essentials at a lower price
• Armrest protector + console organiser — daily-touch points that scratch fastest
• Cup holder insert — stops rattling and condensation rings
• Trunk side storage box — organises charging cable and boot cavities

Nice-to-Haves and Charging Gear

A tempered glass screen protector for the 15.4-inch display reduces glare, eliminates fingerprint buildup, and guards against scratches from rings or cleaning. Door sill kick-plate protectors guard the painted sills from shoe scuffs — the first place a Tesla shows wear. Aluminium pedal covers add grip and a finished look in five minutes. For charging, a Type 2 charging cable and a Type 2 to Tesla adapter cover home and public AC charging across Australia — most public AC stations don't supply a cable, so carrying your own is essential for road trips.

• Screen protector — 15.4" tempered glass, confirm Highland fitment
• Door sill protectors — guards painted sills from scuffs
• Aluminium pedal covers
• Type 2 charging cable + Type 2 to Tesla adapter

Buy floor mats first, armrest and console next, then the quality-of-life wins, then charging gear.
